Relief on the way

Thank YOU so much for all the donations, it is so welcome and allows us to reach the most vulnerable people – one person at a time, one family at a time and one village at time. See images below.

Relief materials handed over to Sindhuli District Relief Committee

‘We have handed over the relief materials 4 tons beaten rice, 970 kg dalmoth and 21 nos tarpaulin sheets. According to the record 5000 tarpaulin sheet have been collected from the various organisations. Tarpauline is the greatest need is for Sindhuli as well as nation wide.  Direct involvement of the donors is remained as controversy in district and national level too. This government directive has slowed down the distribution process. Tarpaulin sheets are in shortage in the local markets.

There is medicines shortage in Sindhupalchok district according to the national news. So as many people have not received the emergency relief materials due to remoteness. Our Central Regional Health Director is heading towards Chaurara tomorrow for supervision of the medical needs. He will let us know medical needs and others too.’ From Dambar Aley,  Program Director, NLT Lalgadh Leprosy Services Centre, in south east Nepal.
